Artist Roberto Lugo brought the exhibition to life through a dynamic two-day residency that engaged students across campus. From hands-on ceramics workshops and live pottery demonstrations to slide talks and discussions connecting art, history, and African American literature, students experienced contemporary art in the gallery, classroom, and theater. The residency fostered meaningful dialogue, creative exploration, and cross-disciplinary learning—and was a highlight of the exhibition.
